Let’s face it, not only are we humans stressed out, so are our dogs! Here’s a quick question…Is your dog stressing you out or are you stressing your dog? It could be that your dog is extra-sensitive to YOUR stress. Loud noises, such as thunderstorms and fireworks can be a trigger. Other reasons could be vet visits, strangers coming to the house, traveling, or the dreaded, “You’re NEVER coming home!!”, separation anxiety. Not all dogs are stressed by the same things, and not all stresses look the same to us.
This sad look is enough to make you want to stay home, but that’s not healthy, either! I have been doing my research on essential oils and dogs. I would recommend that you always use Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils and that you ALWAYS DILUTE them! If you’re not using CPTG oils, then you can’t be sure of what you are actually oiling your dog with. I would also not use oils on puppies younger than 12 weeks old. They are our best friends, after all!! If you’re interested in the oils that I use, you can contact me at Leilaniheightsoiler@gmail.com. The oils that I use are pure, so don’t forget to dilute them…I use coconut oil for my carrier oil, which you can buy at your local grocery store. 1 drop essential oil ~ 1 teaspoon carrier oil
