Lemon Cream Cheese Cookies

Makes approx. 24 Cookies

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 6 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar, plus another 1-2 Tablespoons to sprinkle after baking
  • 3/4 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 3/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 15 drops Lemon Essential Oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a LARGE mixing bowl (Stainless Steele or Glass) Cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugars together until smooth. Stir in the egg, vanilla, and Lemon essential oil, making sure to thoroughly mix until smooth, again.
  3. In a MEDIUM mixing bowl, mix together all of the dry ingredients. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix well, again.
  4. Scoop teaspoon sized cookies onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 9-10 mins.
  6. Let cookies cool and then dust with remaining powdered sugar.
  7. ENJOY!!
